Moose Ridge is located in the tiny town of Upton, Maine, not far from the NH border.  Just three miles from Lake Umbagog Wildlife Refuge, we are surrounded by vast tracts of wilderness, as well as nearby mountains, streams and rivers.

Camping is included in the price of attending the gathering.  Our primitive campsites are scattered throughout the forest, tucked away between balsams or in mossy glades.  Campsites are assigned upon arrival.  With the large number of people arriving for the gathering, we've found this is the best way to make sure everyone has an appropriate campsite in a timely manner.  In the weeks before the gathering attendees will receive an email where they can request a campsite closer to the main area, or farther away where its quieter.

Our forested campus features more than 70 primitive campsites, over two miles of walking trails, and a gathering area around the main fire.

Moose Ridge is home to hundreds of species of plants and animals, and has many diverse habitats, from bog, to hardwood forest, to sub-boreal, featuring balsam, birch and spruce.  We ask that everyone be respectful and disturb the wild plants and animals as little as possible while visiting.
